Managed vs other paths

Foundation, Advanced, and Managed. Requests are a Managed capability. Prices on marketing cards are not a locked billing contract.

Marketing shows three paths. They describe how heavy the site is, not a promise that every SKU is charged the same way in every environment. Pick a path from how you want to run the site, then confirm the live subscription in the dashboard.

Three paths

Foundation

Dashboard, blog, team-style content, forms, and leads. For a site that mostly stays the same. Content types beyond the basics, Pipeline, and Requests are not part of this path unless an operator granted a specific override.

Advanced

Custom sections, more people, Pipeline, and a history of changes. For a site that works harder. Requests are not part of Advanced. Do not present them as if they were.

Managed

Everything in Advanced, plus Requests. You describe a change. A developer agent builds it. A person reviews it. Then it can go live. Copy on Managed may say every change is included. That is the product story, not a quote engine inside the dashboard.

Requests sit on Managed

The dashboard treats Requests as entitled on Managed. Foundation and Advanced stay override-only: a developer can Grant, Deny, or Use plan default under Settings, Requests. Full access also needs Show Requests turned on for that site. Direct hits without access show a short card, not a missing page.

Where to see your path

  1. Open the account menu in the sidebar footer.
  2. Choose Upgrade plan, or Settings and then Billing.
  3. The live subscription and customer portal live there, not on the marketing cards.

Changing paths

Owners and admins manage billing. Switching down to Foundation can be blocked in-app if content types that need Advanced are still on. Turn those types off in Settings, Content types first. Plan changes made only in the Stripe portal are not always blocked the same way, so prefer the dashboard when you can.

What this page does not lock in

List prices on the marketing site can move. Marketing plan buttons all go to create an account. They are not wired to Stripe checkout on those pages. Managed public Stripe checkout is still operator-gated when those prices are not configured.
