Stripe / billing surface
Billing lives in the dashboard. Marketing plan cards are a story, not the live invoice.
Coming soon on the longer handbook. What follows is the live surface, not a promised catalog.
Coming soon: a longer billing handbook. What follows is the live surface, not a new checkout design.
Where billing lives
Owners and admins open billing from the dashboard. The account menu has Upgrade plan. Settings, Billing is the same area, plus transfer for owners. Checkout and the customer portal run through Stripe when those prices exist.
- Open the account menu in the sidebar footer.
- Choose Upgrade plan, or Settings and then Billing.
- Use the Stripe portal from there for payment methods and invoices Stripe already issued.
One customer, many sites
One Stripe customer per person can cover more than one site. Each site still has its own subscription. Canceling one site does not take the others with it.
Plans on the marketing site
Foundation, Advanced, and Managed on the pricing page describe the paths. Those cards all send Start a project to create an account. They are not wired to Stripe checkout on the marketing page.
Who can manage billing
Owner and admin. Developers do not. Transfer is owner only. Adding another site is available from the sidebar for people on the current site; the new site's owner depends on the rank you had when you added it.
Coming soon on this page
Coming soon: invoices, seats, and what happens if a path changes under an active site. Until then, use the Stripe portal from the dashboard for payment methods and invoices Stripe already issued.
